Literally the worst restaurant I've ever entered. Very unsanitary. Raw meats kept at warm temps, watered down egg drop soup, cold and old food on the buffet. Overall, just gross. We brought it to managements attention and they don't really seem to care. This place will be closed soon. They changed names and moved locations because of so many bad reviews on here. Just a matter of time until they close the doors. Hopefully not to many people get food poisoning or worse before they go out of business.

Came here with my family and it was awful. We all went up to the buffet together and we all had the same look on our faces. Everything was dried out, old, empty, and worse, most was not hot. I put my finger on my food and it wasn't hot enough to burn myself. I actually stopped my dad from eating the mussels because they were still closed shut. Bad sign when cooked mussels are not opened. That means they are rotten. It wasn't satisfying at all and I was very disappointed because I really wanted to like this place. The desert trays were not replenished and the only thing was left was jello and rice Krispy treats. The ice cream had bits of other ice cream flavors from people mixing it together. It didn't help that a kid was roaming around the buffet trays and coughing all around them. About an hour later I was in pain from indigestion. It was pretty disastrous dinner.

I went to this place, not realizing, that they heve recently changed ownership. I had been there a few times, prior to my last visit. throughout the years past, when it was just Chinese food, so I was expecting a mediocre Chinese buffet, at best. Not a chance, this time. I should've read their new sign outside, before entering or at least looked over the food, before deciding to stay. I am not exactly sure, what Latin food is supposed to be, but all I know, is that they took out many of the items that they used to have and replaced them with several varieties of tripe, pigs feet, goat livers, warm sushi and cold spring rolls. The filthy restrooms topped everything else off.

This is now called El Gran Palacio Latin and Chinese Buffet...that should have been a sign right there. Exactly the same as Golden China Buffet, but less Chinese food now and they have added Latin food. I tried the liver even though it smelled a little off. It tasted rotten and now I have cramps and I expect to be up all night sick. Everything tastes bad after that. I mentioned it to two of the employees and they said that is how it is supposed to be. Ugh. They should be closing soon even though it is under new ownership.

I think it's very weird that they have Latin food, Chinese food, hibachi, and sushi all in one place. Before this place was revamped, the Chinese food was excellent. I wonder what happened.. I ate the Latin food here. It was decent. I wish they had more choices.. I'd like to see more beef. I was surprised when they didn't have lemon for my water though. What kind of s*** is that? Whatever. I don't really consider service at a buffet service. I didn't really receive much. I'd like to give this place another try. Hopefully they've read these reviews on yelp so they can make necessary improvements.

This is the most disgusting restaurant that I have ever been to. I should have known when I walked in at lunch time and I was the only one there. The buffet was about half full and the food was disgusting

Absolutely a huge let down! I don't usually complain but was looking to see something more enticing. Every battered dish was hard and the noodles were cold. The soup was bland and tepid. I think the Latin chicken and tea were about the only things not messed up. I didn't bother with the sad desserts. They asked me how it was and I told them . I didn't need a discount but they wanted to give me one- it was no charge for the tea :( really??? Nice people but I won't be back!

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
